The Jam - Down in the Tube Station at Midnight
The Jam were an English band during the 1970s and early 1980s, which formed in 1972 at Sheerwater Secondary School in Woking and eventually comprised of Paul Weller on guitar and vocals, bassist Bruce Foxton (occasionally on vocals) and drummer Rick Buckler . Down in the Tube Station at Midnight was the second single from their third album, All Mod Cons . Released in October 1978, it reached #15 on the UK Singles Chart. This design is based on the lyrics..."and this morning's paper...Mr. Jones got run down. Headlines of death and sorrow - they tell of tomorrow...madmen on the rampage" with a few other Jam related references thrown in for good measure, how many can you spot?
