Gun of Life was the Jeff Shadbolt penned track which was released in 1982 on Roadrunner Records on the flip side of Plane Crash along with the live version of Scooby Doo. It later appeared on the 1985 live album Head On Collision Time, the 2010 Purple Hearts Live! album and finally on the Beat That! Live 45th Anniversary Tour album by the new line up. The music famously ended up being used for Green Day's Carpe Diem (a track on their ¡Uno! album) but credit to the American punk giants, they called Just Jeff and asked permission first.
