The Last Great Act Of Defiance Scooter Club (DSC)
Here is an excerpt from the history of the scooter club courtesy of Karl (you can read the rest on their Facebook page)... The Last Great Act Of Defiance Scooter Club (DSC) started during the mod revival era 40 years ago. Originally calling themselves The Vixens in 1983 they decided to change their name. Various names were suggested like The Exploding Frogs, Crazy Daisies or even The Cherry Tree Scooter Cub but DSC was decided on and they never looked back. The original logo/patch was handmade for each member by their old boy Phil Ford with every patch having the members unique number at the bottom. This was Danger Mouse sticking two fingers up at sabre-toothed tiger on a union flag background. This idea came from a program at an Animals gig a few Defiance went to, Gel suggested to put Danger Mouse in front of the tiger and the name The Last Great Act of Defiance Scooter Club was born.
